ALOA Executive Director

Mark Schoepp

The Board of ALOA/Adult Lutherans Organized for Action is pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Mark Schoepp as its Executive Director as of July 1, 2018. Mark’s personal objective is to “encourage and equip people to live healthy and whole lives, to be faithful stewards… in Christ’s service”.

Mark received a BA from the University of Alberta in 1974. He has a 5th year Director of Christian Education Certificate from Concordia, Nebraska earned in 1980. His Masters of Parish Education was also earned from Concordia, Nebraska in 1990.

His work experience started with Deaf Ministry where he also taught Sign Language at Concordia, Portland. Mark was a Director of Christian Education in four different congregations, he served six years as Director of Congregational Engagement with Wheat Ridge Ministries (now We Raise Foundation) as well as a 20-year run with Fitz Family Ministries with his wife and four children.

Mark resides and will work from the Chicago area. The home office for ALOA will remain in Clearwater, Florida.
