ALOA SENIORFESTS are regional events, often co-sponsored by synods, districts, seminaries and other institutions. These events are planned by local committees and are generally day-long events incorporating learning, worship and fellowship.


TEXAS

14th Annual Austin & Central Texas SeniorFest

Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019 – 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
St. Paul Lutheran Church, Austin
Living Lives of Courage and Faith will be the topic presented by Bishop Mike Rinehart, Bishop of the Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast Synod, ELCA. Participants will also take part in a choice of workshops ranging from honoring the calling to be a caregiver or care receiver to the mystery of the labyrinth. 
Cost:  $25.00 per person includes catered meal.
           $30.00 per person after January 27, 2019

12th Annual North Texas SeniorFest

Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019 – 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
Resurrection Lutheran Church, Plano
Rev. Erik Gronberg, Bishop of the Northern Texas-Northern Louisiana Synod, will speak on Our Church – Faith in Action. A variety of workshops will also be available (see brochure for details).
Cost:  $25.00 per person includes hot lunch. (Please register by Feb. 16)
