These national events are held in various locations throughout the U.S.. Many times held in conjunction with other church-based organizations, Lutherhostels are 4-6 day events which take place in retreat-like settings.

Join ALOA for a time of learning, reflecting and connecting with others along the Root River. We’ve assembled a dynamic team that will bring you inspiring spiritual topics, music, devotions and outdoor activities.
Dr. Robert Holst, our spiritual topic leader, will present The Wonderful Witness of Women in the Gospel of John. Robert brings the perspective of a pastor, missionary in Papua New Guinea and college professor. He retired as president of Concordia University, St. Paul, MN. James Coe will lead music and devotions. James retired as music director at St. Lukes Lutheran Church in Oviedo, FL, and his 40 years in Lutheran church music included serving congregations in Ann Arbor, MI and Clearwater, FL.
The Lutherhostel will take place in the Miracle Lodge Retreat and Conference Center at Ironwood Springs. Accommodations will be in the spacious, accessible Lodge sleeping rooms. Alternatively, participants can choose to stay in Ironwood’s campsite spaces, located just yards away from the Lodge, or attend as a commuter.
Cost includes lodging, meals and full program:
