Typical SeniorFest attendeesALOA SENIORFESTS are regional events, often co-sponsored by synods, districts, seminaries and other institutions. These events are planned by local committees and are generally day-long events incorporating learning, worship and fellowship.

TEXAS

13th Annual Austin & Central Texas SeniorFest
Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018 – 8:30 am to 4:00 pm

Christ Lutheran Church, Georgetown
Rev. Dr. Gerald Kieschnick, former President Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, will present Being a Christian in 2018.
Participants will also take part in 3 workshops on subjects ranging from cultivating resilience in later life, history of Swedish Lutheran congregations in Texas, identifying a life verse, watercolor painting, fitness and more.
Cost:  $25.00 per person includes catered meal

Resurrection Lutheran Church, Plano
Caring for God’s Creation is the theme. Main Speaker Dr. Tim H. Robinson will explore hoq Christian theology, ethics and practice are being reimagined to equip Christians to faithfully care for creation.  Participants will also take part in 3 of 7 workshops such as God’s Joy at Creation and Now, Creating Treasures out of Trash and Better Choices; Better Health
