ALOA Councils

In addition to our Board of Directors, ALOA relies upon a variety of ministry leaders to help plan, strategize and carry out the work of supporting ministry for adults age 50 and up, as individuals and in Lutheran congregations.

Congregational Program Council
Develops programs to encourage discipleship, support ministry leaders and provide resources for church partners


 Events Council
Supports and sustains ALOA signature events along with exploring new avenues to reach and support the boomer generation.
Giving Council
Cultivates funding initiatives in order to support and sustain ALOA’s mission.
Management Team
Operational support within a variety of areas of expertise to insure the efficient and effective use of time and resources.
Media Council
Advises and supports the development and execution of marketing and communications strategies.
Membership Council
Develops and supports memberships, both individuals and corporate, which includes partner congregations, Synods, Districts and Service Ministry Organizations.
